OUR LIVING CONDITION & VEHICLE POLICY

We look forward to role-playing in a very poor poverty stricken area and we want to see money hungry characters in this faction, if you're one of those people that is influenced IC'ly by the large amount of money you carry in the bank OOC'ly and don't feel the need of role-playing being broke, then you have no place in this faction. Our goal is to portray realistic lowlife gang bangers living off food stamps and welfare, struggling to make a living and provide for their families, we want to see characters desperate for money.

Now with that being said obviously we wouldn't appreciate to see the whole East Beach strip filled with cars to the point where you can't even walk your way through anymore. Similar to the gun policy it'd be much more realistic if only a couple people had vehicles, however if you are a teen and you really want to role-play having a vehicle it'd be great if you would role-play the vehicle that you're driving being either your moms work truck / car or your dads, whichever you prefer. Also for those that will role-play having their own vehicles, seeing someone drive around in an insurance-less vehicle would bring a smile on our faces considering that insurance is pretty expensive to acquire. I don't think we need to tell you what kind of vehicles we'd like to see you drive though. Common sense, obviously not Sultans or any sort of expensive cars.

GUN POLICY

We feel that if we only allow 4 or 5 people to possess firearms in the whole faction it would increase the level of realism in our role-play followed by the decreased amount of shoot-outs that we're going to be involved in. We want this faction to mainly revolve around hood role-play and it would be much more realistic if, for instance an initiated member would be in need of a firearm he would borrow it from someone else through In Character methods. You are allowed to possess guns OOC'ly however. That is your right and we can't take that away from you, but firearms are most likely to be given to certain people by the high ranked members of the gang so if you're one of the unlucky ones that wasn't given a firearm IC'ly then you would have to borrow one from someone that you know was given one IC'ly.

Guns are way too easily acquired on LS:RP and you could also argue that in LA they are easily acquired too but early to mid teenagers wouldn't be able to acquire a gun that easy.
1) The dealer would have a trust issue with selling you one due to your age, if you got busted, you'd be more likely to snitch on him.
2) Majority of the teens don't have the balls to own a gun.
So it makes sense for only certain people to own guns and you borrow it from them. Also we'll be focused more on "Hood RP" so guns wouldn't be needed as much IC, you'd resolve problems through fist fights and such not guns blazing.

And then someone can argue that certain groups of teenagers (gang affiliated teens) can acquire guns easily through older members within the gang and/or family (cousins, uncles, aunties). A lot of teens within gang infested areas actually feel that having a gun or some sort of weapon is a necessity. If your character went out every night, I'm sure after seeing a few scuffles and maybe weapons shown your character would try find himself/herself a gun for protection.

It can go both ways. Though, I'm sure everyone understands what you two are trying to put across here.

At the same time, this is also realistic. Forgot to mention that. Certain homeboys having guns or people just lending people guns to use, is great RPz and realisticz.
