RANK STRUCTURE
We would like you to acknowledge that we follow the real-life ranks of Crip gangs, starting off with Baby Gangsters which is the first initiated rank, we'd also like you to know that in order to become a Baby Gangster, you should start role-playing aged 11 or 12 as your initiation is most likely to happen when your character becomes 13 or 14 years old, we made that decision based on the fact that kids and adolescents make up the majority of a gangs membership, it is very easy to manipulate a kid into joining a gang therefore we thought that it would only be appropriate if we followed up on that. We also believe that by implementing this method into our gang's way of role-playing, character development will come naturally as your character will rank up.
The reason why we think it's ideal for Baby Gangsters to be role-playing in their early-teens is because it is their duty to role-play recruiting other young kids at school (that of course reside in the same area, we don't want people from 20 blocks away role-playing with us) If you're looking forward to joining this faction, role-play that one of our Baby Gangster affiliates from school referred you to us and that you started getting outside your house more often ever since. That doesn't mean that school drop-outs will not be allowed into this faction, feel free to role-play that if you want but we look forward to hosting school role-play just like we did our previous faction (Belmont).
The second rank right after your initiation will be Original Baby Gangster which you will achieve once you by-pass 3 months of role-playing since your initiation. (example: If you were initiated on the 1st of May of 2013, you would become an O.B.G on the 1st of August) We feel that age is a very crucial factor in this faction, we do not want 25 year old O.B.G's therefore aging up should only occur during rank-ups, once you become an Original Baby Gangster you will be allowed to age up in-between the period of reaching the next rank as it will be a long road until you get there.
The rank following Original Baby Gangster will be Original Gangsta, and it will take you another 3 months since your previous rank-up in order to achieve this rank, making it a total of 6 (or more) months since you have been role-playing with this faction. As a leader, I must admit that the large pauses between rank-ups are pretty cruel but I want this rank have a significant meaning considering the fact that we only have 5 ranks. I want it to be hard to achieve and I want those who achieved it to be proud of it.
Original Gangstas are gang members who have been banging for over 10 years (6 months + for us) and the rank is equivalent to a block enforcer, if you have been with us long enough to reach this rank then it is advised that you role-play aged (23 +) since we don't want 16 year old Original Gangstas around the block (That would be very unrealistic).
The rank following Original Gangsta is Double O.G and if you're looking forward to climb the ladder all the way up to the top, this would be your last stop (rhyme intended). We look forward to becoming an official faction, and we are aware of the fact that it requires a lot of skill and dedication, but just know that we're not going to give up until we achieve that status, in other words we're going to be here for a while like it or not. In order to reach this rank it is a must that you have been role-playing with us for a year, which would be 6 months more since you have been ranked up to Original Gangsta, making it a total of 1 year + of role-playing with this faction.
Double O.G's are gang members who have been banging for 15 years + (1 year for us) and this rank is the equivalent of a co-leader, if you have been role-playing with our faction for long enough to reach this rank then it is advised that you role-play (28 years old +).
The last rank would be Triple O.G which only the founders of the gang will have and in this case that would be myself, Greenthumb and my comrade tw1ster, we're going to role-play the elders around the block (aged 33-35 +), I'm most likely to be found around the block on this character and I look forward to role-playing that I have a family consisting of a bitch wife and two sons, one of them new-born which some of you might have to look after every now and then, me and tw1ster will both have initiated alt-accounts which we'll join you on and we will try our best to maintain activity on both characters.
As an elder around the block I will most likely not be the one who will take the youngins around on missions considering that I have a family (IC'ly). That would be the O.G's and the Double O.G's responsibility, on this character I look forward to portraying day-to-day life in the Playa Del Seville housing projects.
You might have noticed that there is a rank missing which would be Tiny Gangster, we've decided to skip that rank for realism purposes, we feel that it would be much more adequate if your character got directly jumped in rather than calling you in some fancy office telling you things such as: "Oh well, you're almost there" and making you wait even more.
